Q&A: How to start planning a trip to London?

Question by help.: How to start planning a trip to London?

I'm planning on going to London, but I really don't know how to start this process. This trip is bieng planned months in advance. I'm not familiar with the area at all (first time going) I guess I could stay in a hotel for 2 weeks but are there any other options? I actually know someone there but i don't want to stay at their place.

Any tips on how to start? Or any ideas of what I should do while over there?

Go see the sights, and go to all of our museums, Stay in a hotel or stay at your friends.
London's really an amazing place, there's so much to do, and see.
