What are good colleges for mathematics, and engineering?

Question by akleyer: What are good colleges for mathematics, and engineering?

I'm planning to apply for M.I.T, Princeton, Columbia, and as fall back schools: Rutgers (they have a great biomedical institute), and Devry (same reason)

Can you give me your reviews on these schools and a list of some other good colleges preferably for mathematics and engineering

It really depends on what major you will go through.
I mean some schools are the best on Electrical engineering, some are the best on Marine Engineering...

But still, engineers are cool!

I am an Industrial engineer and graduated from University of Arizona. The department was ranked 18th over the States.

If you can give some more details, the answers would be more accurate!
