What are the techniques used by police/private detectives to track down a missing person?
Assuming that NOBODY knows about the person's whereabouts and that he doesn't use any traceable electronic devices(credit card machines, cellphone etc)

CCTV, any thing they have bought, where he/she last was seen and where they might go if they have links or sumfin...
depends on the circumstances i suppose
