H.E. Abhisisit Vejjajiva, the Prime Minister of Thailand, delivered an opening speech at the First International Pali Conference on "Buddhism in the New Century"

H.E. the Prime Minister, after the speech, presented the 40-volume Tipitaka Studies Reference in Roman script, the first special 2009 edition in Thailand, to the organising committee.

The Tipitaka Studies Reference was published by Dhamma Society Fund as part of the World Tipitaka Project in Roman Script.
